RÖD'S TREASURE BOX is an activity kit developed for kids 5-8 visiting Röhsska Museum. The project will continue during the fall of 2010, but you can already now borrow the bag with its 3D map, stories, activites, and give-aways in the reception of the museum. The kit revolves around the dragon RÖD, and starts off with a story on video that goes something like..
"Welcome to the Röhsska Museum! Do you know a dragon lives here? Oh yes - a dragon called Röd lives in the museum. And he welcomes you to see all his things!
Röd is a very passionate dragon, that truly loves design. He has been collecting furniture and clothes for centuries, but he could never use the things he bought, since his tail and his big body never fitted into the things. So instead, he lets people come and see his collections.
Röd is an old, but wealthy dragon, and he walks around all day in a fancy kimono. But he does have a sensitive tummy that sometimes makes him burp fire. Therefore he put glass around his favorite things.
One of his best friends is Buddha, who constantly comes for tea. Every time Röd wants to hang a painting or put a dress on a mannequin Buddha has to come over to assist him, since the dragon's hands are a bit clumpsy."
